Artsy Smartsy

Nola has had great reports from her preschool! She loves going on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week one of her teachers said that she wishes all the kids could be as good as Nola, then her class would be easy. She said Nola is such a "little lady" and very obedient. Now if she could just be that way all the time at home, ha! I was so proud of course.

Here is some of the art work Nola has been bringing home. Lots of finger painting, stamping, and hand and foot prints. I have no idea how her preschool keeps order when all the kids are messy with paint!

Uncle Ryan Easter

Uncle Ryan came out from Chicago last weekend for Easter weekend. Nola is still asking, "where did Uncle Ryan go?" We even got to go to our Zoo Monday.

We had a blast in the bipolar weather. Polar is the key word there. One day sunny and warm, the next day snow! The past three Easters have been white for us. Fun for the kids to wake up to snow covered streets, bad on the Easter hair dos. We were drenched in the biggest wet spring snow flakes I have ever seen. It looked like torn tissue paper falling from the sky.

The snow is a perfect example of the redemption we have in our Lord Jesus. He makes us white as snow because of what he did on the cross for us!
