Uncle Ryan

Nola talks nonstop, which makes it really hard to catch on video because she runs around talking and singing all day. I decided to sit her down and put her on the spot just now. She was a bit shy at first not really understanding what I was doing. Usually when someone is not around, she will say they are at work. Like “daddy’s at work.” I had to translate here to make sure you catch her little language. She is talking about Oma, Pops and Uncle Ryan. She kept looking out the window to try to figure it all out.

5 Firsts

In the past month, we've experienced some firsts...

1. Rockwell's first spoon of oatmeal cereal
October 19, 4 month birthday

Falling asleep eating, that's the life

2. Rockwell rolled over
November 2, 4 months old
We have yet to actually catch him in the act.

3. Rockwell's first tooth, two actually!
November 5, 4 1/2 months old

4. Nola saw her first movie, Madagascar 2
November 12th

5. First time both babies fell asleep at the same time on a run
Today!

Pretty much, every day holds a "first" and we know there will be many more to come.

In a great green room...

Was a telephone, and a red balloon, and a picture of Nola Bea jumping over the moon! These are the lines from Nola's favorite book. In honor of her complete obsession with the moon and stars (and music and dancing), we decided to go with it for her 2nd birthday party. Goodnight Moon!

Happy Halloween

A cowgirl sheriff and the chicken off her farm hope you had a Happy Halloween.

And this was Nola last year as the chicken, slight resemblance to her little bro chick!
