A La Carte Outside

Nola loves playing outside. We can't wait for the cast to be completely gone next Thursday so she will stop fussing about the itchy grass on her open cast toes.

Today we had a tea party picnic lunch. Within 30 min. it was windy, rainy, cloudy, and then sunny and hot! That's Colorado in the fall for you!

Complaining about the wind and her missing hair bow...

"Thank you Momma" she is really into saying that.


"Where is baby Rockwell?" So worried that he will wake up from his nap and be missing out.

Goodnight Moon

Nola's favorite bedtime ritual is saying nigh night to every word she knows. It can go on for hours. Moon, star, clouds, tree, leaves, duck, frog, and even "nigh night big truck."

She even wakes up asking, "where did moon go?" On her own, she determined that she would call the sun an "oooh big star."

Cast Away!

Sign the thigh high cast away! Nola's cousins came over last Friday night and all signed her big cast.



She has a new short walking cast for 3 more weeks.

It took Nola a day or so to want to walk in the new cast. But now she runs with it! She was all over the jungle gym steps today at the park!

Personality Plus

Wells' personality is really starting to shine. He's all smiles and coos. These were from 2 weeks ago (8 weeks old) after a bath. His hair sticks straight up, but now it's much longer and wavy! I bet he could use his first haircut already, but we are so growing it out. Since Nola was a baldy for so long, I just cant' resist.
