Uncle Wilbur's Fountain

Yesterday we went to Acacia park downtown to see the summer opening of Uncle Wilbur's Fountain. The fountain is closed for the winter, but reopens from Memorial weekend to Labor day weekend - which is really the extent of our summers here in Colorado.
I didn't dress Nola for the water, but she was drawn towards the splashes. She said "weeee" when the water sprouted up and she tried to catch it.

Just 4 1/2 more weeks until Nola is a big sister. She says "baby" all the time and lifts her shirt up to show off the baby she thinks is in her belly. She also sees babies in the store or photos of babies or even just infant carriers and yells "baby!" So I think she'll really be excited to have her own baby in our home. At least until that novelty wears off.
Suzy is taking maternity / Nola's 18 mo. photos next week. We can't wait to share them with you! Have a great holiday weekend.

Zack's 30th Birthday!

Yesterday Zack turned the big 3-0!

We celebrated with over 30 friends and family at the Antler's Hilton hotel downtown with live music, appetizers, and cake! Only in Colorado would a Hilton be called "Antlers." You will notice antlers hanging above heads in photos. It really was the perfect venue! Check out the photos.
