Nola's Shirt

Merry Christmas! Nola has a message she wants to announce. And she is very proud!

We are 13 1/2 weeks along, due on June 29th and SO EXCITED!

The babies will be 20 months apart. Just what we were hoping for, around 2 years apart!

We spent Christmas in California for 5 days and did a whirlwind family tour starting in Fresno, down to Visalia, and then up to Sacramento. We got back to Colorado late last night. It was a joy to visit with tons of family on my mom and dad's side. They were amazed at Nola's growth and all her tricks.

Nola really got into ripping the paper off her presents and then it was so cute when she discover there was actually a toy inside! Her second cousin Luke is 16 months and they are the only great grandchildren on my dad's side of the family so far. I'll have to post photos of the two tikes together.

711 not 7-Eleven

For just over 2 years now we've lived at 711, not to be confused with the 7-Eleven down the street.

Yes, it confuses friends, and especially cab drivers picking up friends after late night gatherings.

Well, for those of you who haven't seen our home dusted in snow with bare branches, here it is. It looks nothing like a Colorado home and we chose it mainly because it reminded us of all the brick in Oklahoma and Texas. We wanted an old home with big trees and red brick, not suburban stucco. We love our home and feel so blessed to live here!

Winter Wonderland

Here are some photos we took on Saturday for our Christmas card this year.
We'll just say it's a sneak peak.

Nola is 13 months and has 13 teeth! Including 4 molars. She's still talking up a storm and adding about a word a week to her 2 year old vocabulary!
