Tiny Bubbles

Gammy came over on Tuesday night to play with the girls while we went on the weekly Jack Quinn's 5k run. She came bearing gifts - BUBBLES!

Peek-A-Boo Jade

Jade has always favored hiding under the bed over any other "normal" dog activity. She has since found that hiding under the crib is even more fun! Nola is entertained for hours by her!

Chompers!

Many have asked for a photo of all of these famous teeth... well, after a bit of a struggle, this is as good as it gets for now. The bottom teeth are really big now!

Nola Bea's Roots

We went on a spontaneous trip to Tulsa last weekend to visit friends, attend a wedding, and for Zack to visit his Tulsa clients. It was a blast!!!

Here are some photos of Nola with her "uncles and aunts" - our best friends in the world. We wish we lived closer again and I know that Nola loved the southern hospitality, but I don't think she could take the southern heat!

Nola scratched her nose up the first night, but the flower in her hair makes up for it! Notice how she bites on her bottom lip. She's feeling out her 6 teeth!!!

Sweet home Oklahoma. The "glow" you see is really sweat. Yuck!

Nola is now interested in only objects that are NOT really toys! Like flip flops, spoons, cups, plates, Versace sunglasses, yeah, she's starting early!

Leeanne and Jason get to meet Nola Bea for the first time!
Sarah and Nola say cheese.
Just one of the gals...

Forfeit the 4th? Never!

Yesterday was quite the adventure. With much anticipation, we loaded up the car with 3 ice chests, 2 kiddos, 4 adults and Matt and Suzy following right behind on their motorcycle. As we took off for the park at 4 p.m. we noticed the sky changing from 89 and sunny to grey and rainy in a matter of minutes, dropping 30 degrees!
We arrived at the park and stayed in the car while we experienced the most intense hail and rain storm for over an hour! Nola did pretty good even though she pooped in her diaper and I didn't dare try to change it in the car.

The rain settled and we pitched a tent in the soggy grass and then it started raining again. So now it's 6 adults and 2 children huddled in a 2 man tent! We didn't realize that we had set up camp on the "south side" of the lake. Not the safest place to be.

After the rain stopped for good, it was becoming more and more clear that we didn't belong, but we stuck it out and just figured after all of that, we weren't moving! It would have been a long walk to where we figured out we should have been sitting with the thousands of others.

Finally it was almost 10 o clock and the fireworks began - we were so far away and couldn't see them because of the trees! We just decided to pack it up and beat the traffic. Wishful thinking.

Happy First (Ghetto Fabulous) Fourth of July Nola! What a funny day!
