Merry Christmas!

Nola's first Christmas started with a masive blizzard last Wednesday that trapped us on the freeway for 4 hours for what should have been a 20 min. drive to Gammy and Grandbob's.

Snowed in at the Bender's house, Nola enjoyed here cousins.
Friday we all went to the Colorado Bearworks in Manitou Sprins where all the children were able to build their own bear. Nola's says "princess".

Christmas Eve at church Nola Bea was quite the hit in her santa baby outfit.


Christmas morning brought tons of toys and Nola was awake the whole time to play with her new gifts.

Fast asleep, a perfect ending to the exciting morning!

Nola's Acting Debut

Sunday night Nola Bea played baby Jesus in our church Christmas musical. She did so good - slept the entire hour she was up on stage! We wanted her to be really warm so she would sleep, so I put her in a brown furry bear costume (against Zack's will) and then they swaddled her in blankets on top of that. Needless to say, when they brought her out on stage, you couldn't tell what was wrapped up in the blankets, it just looked like a HUGE mummy about the size of a 2 year old! We laughed so hard the entire performance.
