Countdown Begins ... Final Week!

We had an ultrasound yesterday because they have been monitoring baby Nola's growth. She is estimated to weigh 6' 8 oz! Great progress from the 5' she was three weeks ago! She has REALLY long legs and good size feet, so we think she has our height.

Last week they said I'm at a 3 and she could come any day now. We're trying to stay patient and get as much rest as possible because we know that will all change soon.

The due date is Nov. 5th, Sunday, but the Lord knows her birthday and we're trusting in him.

Tonight we're dressing up as a pregnant Nun and a Priest - ha! We'll post pics later.

Here are some photos from a few weeks ago at our couples shower at Kristin's house. It was such a special shower and we had a blast!

The others are from the Fall Fling, my Jr. League event the next night. This was the weekend when all the contractions began... I wonder why ... Momma likes a party :)

Thanks for your prayers. Nola Bea can't wait to meet you!

3 weeks left!

Happy Fall! There is snow on the peak and a bite in the air. Yes, just 3 more weeks! Two of my friends that were due after me have recently delivered preemie babies. One came 6 weeks early. It makes me think that anything can happen when it comes to birth.

I have a feeling that we'll be late. First babies usually go over the due date by a week or more. I pray she keeps growing and that she stays inside of me until she's good and ready to face the world!

I'm now working 1/2 days now from 8-12 (docs orders) and I'm resting in the afternoons. Basically, this will be the only time in life where I'm prescribed to be lazy. I'm suppose to eat more and sleep more. I might as well live it up for the last 3 weeks!

Our friends are throwing us a couples shower tomorrow night - I can't wait! It should be a blast. We'll post more pics.

This spot with the red rocks in front of the Peak is called The Garden of the Gods. We live on the same street! Zack's been running with the dogs through the Garden almost every morning! He says that when I have the baby I'll be running again and he'll need to keep up. I doubt that - it'll be the other way around for sure.
